Organizational Structure
Nenmanikkara Grama Panchayat functions under the provisions of the Kerala Panchayat Raj Act, 1994. The Panchayat administration consists of elected representatives and administrative officials who work together to implement development and welfare programmes.
Elected Council
The Panchayat Council comprises elected members representing the 16 wards of the Panchayat. The President serves as the head of the Panchayat, assisted by the Vice President. The Council takes decisions regarding development projects, annual plans, budgets, and public welfare initiatives.
Standing Committees
To ensure efficient governance, the Panchayat functions through various Standing Committees, including:
- Finance Standing Committee
- Development Standing Committee
- Welfare Standing Committee
- Health and Education Standing Committee
Administrative Wing
The administrative functions of the Panchayat are carried out under the leadership of the Secretary, supported by:
- Secretary
- Assistant Secretary
- Junior Superintendent
- Head Clerk / Senior Clerk
- Accountant
- Clerical Staff
- Office Attendants
Functional Wings
Various departments and institutions support the Panchayat's development and welfare activities, including:
- Krishi Bhavan (Agriculture Department)

- ICDS (Anganwadi Services)
- Kudumbashree Mission
- Haritha Karma Sena
- Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS)
Gram Sabha
Each ward of the Panchayat functions as a Gram Sabha. The Gram Sabha is the foundation of local self-governance and plays a vital role in participatory planning, identifying local needs, and monitoring development activities.
