As per the notification No. LSGD/PD/24269/2024-EER1 dated 06.09.2024 published by the Director of Local Self Government Department (Rural) in the Extraordinary Gazette No. 2888 dated 07.09.2024, the number of seats to be filled by direct election in Nenmanikkara Grama Panchayat in Thrissur District has been fixed as 16, and based on the same, the draft proposals for dividing the said Grama Panchayat into the corresponding number of constituencies and determining the boundaries of such constituencies were published as per Notification No. SDC/634/2024/SDC2 dated 18.11.2024; and time was allowed up to 4.12.2024 for submitting objections and opinions regarding the said proposals, and the objections and opinions received accordingly were examined, the complainants were heard in person, and the same were considered and disposed of;
Under Section 10 of the Kerala Panchayat Raj Act, 1994, Nenmanikkara Grama Panchayat is hereby divided into 16 constituencies and the boundaries thereof are determined as shown in the schedule appended herewith, and the final order is hereby issued.
